In cooperation with UNFPA and Liberty Bank, a meeting was held in Kutaisi 60+ Club

 

On June 10, Kutaisi 60+ Club hosted a meeting, during which the club members received information on important issues for them. The meeting was initiated by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Georgia Office and Liberty Bank and in cooperation with City Hall of Kutaisi Municipality. The event was opened by Lela Bakradze, Head of UNFPA Georgia Office, Eka Bochorishvili, Imereti Regional Director of Liberty Bank and Aleksandre Katamadze, Representative of Kutaisi City Hall.

Lela Sturua, Head of the Non-Communicable Diseases Department of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), spoke with members of the 60+ Club on "Promoting Health at the Age of 60+". Nana Kotetishvili, Head of Incident Management and Customer Rights Protection Department of the Liberty Bank, made a presentation on the rights of retirement age customers.

60+ Clubs is an initiative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Georgia Office, which promotes the implementation of active aging policy and improves the quality of life of elderly people. It is a membership-based club, a socializing space for the older generation, which aims to create a harmonious and diverse environment to promote an active and healthy life. Liberty Bank has been an active supporter of 60+ clubs since 2020.
