Within the framework of the "Grow Your Business" campaign, Liberty continues a series of meetings with agro and business representatives. This time, together with its partners, Liberty met with agro and business representatives of the Shida Kartli region at Gori State University. Speakers of "Business Dialogue" - representatives of Liberty, Rural Development Agency, state program "Produce in Georgia", "Mercy Corps" and "New Vision" insurance spoke about all the opportunities for the development of agriculture and small business, that will promote the existing companies to further increase their business.
“The purpose of "Liberty Business Dialogue" is to conduct direct meetings in the regions with both existing and potential customers in the direction of agro, small, and medium businesses. The dialogue format is a good means to get as close as possible to entrepreneurs, to share experiences, to introduce our partners that support this program, and to study locally the needs of agro and business companies. Also, to introduce the partnership and funding opportunities with Liberty and future projects planned with our partners. This year we have already covered almost all of Georgia and such meetings turned out to be fruitful both for the bank and for business. The reciprocal sharing of ideas and needs facilitates the creation of new banking offers and close cooperation with small and medium-sized businesses." – Vazha Meneabde, MSME Director of Liberty Bank.
"Liberty is an important partner of the Rural Development Agency, especially in the process of implementing systematic programs and direct payments projects. We thank the bank for its active cooperation. The event organized by them is another positive step towards dialogue between the business sector and the state. On behalf of the Rural Development Agency, we provided representatives of the business of the Shida Kartli region with comprehensive information about our current projects, we talked about all the benefits, be it financial or various types of support, which will help the beneficiaries to manage their businesses effectively. We welcome all initiatives that ensure increased access to financial resources for businesses." – Mariam Gelashvili, Head of the Project Development Department of Rural Development Agency.
"It is very important for the "Produce in Georgia" agency to participate in similar types of events. Business dialogue format meetings organized by Liberty Bank will have a positive impact on better familiarization with banking products, including raising awareness of state programs, motivating the development of existing small and medium-sized businesses, and generating new, interesting ideas. Cooperation between the agency and Liberty has been going on successfully for several years, and we are ready to support even more interesting projects through various state support mechanisms." – Gigi Minadze, Program Manager of the Small and Medium Business Development Department.
"New Vision Insurance" supports the "Business Dialogue" initiative of Liberty, which covers all of Georgia. For us, as one of the partners of Liberty, such meetings in the regions are important. We are glad that we were given the opportunity, this time in the Shida Kartli region, to once again introduce our insurance products and future plans to the business sector. We hope the insurance will help them grow their business.” – Zaza Khosroshvili, Member of the Supervisory Board of New Vision Insurance.
"Mercy Corps Georgia, with the financial support of Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC) and the strategic partnership with Liberty, is implementing a large-scale project, Youth Entrepreneurship for Rural Development (RDYE), in 18 municipalities of Georgia, the purpose of which is to deepen entrepreneurial skills and knowledge, promote the access to finance and facilitation of market connections. We think that the initiative of the Bank - "Business Dialogue" is a good opportunity to meet the small and medium-sized business circles employed in the regions and to introduce the progress of the implementation of the youth entrepreneurship development program in the regions and the expected positive results. We also welcome all those initiatives that will promote the formation of connections between young entrepreneurs and experienced entrepreneurs." – Ucha Varamashvili, Youth Entrepreneurship for Rural Development Project Director.
