From May 1, changes were implemented in the rules of contactless transactions made by card. When performing a transaction with a bank card without a contactless PIN, regardless of its amount, if the total amount of the transaction performed without a contactless PIN is 600 GEL, it is necessary to confirm the said transaction with a PIN code.
After entering the PIN code, the limit of 600 GEL will be calculated from the beginning, each subsequent payment will be made in accordance with this rule.
We also would like to inform you that the rule does not apply to transactions made through an electronic wallet (Google Pay, Apple Pay).
