The Journey of Liberty and “Mountain Books” Continues

The large-scale educational project by Liberty and “Mountain Books” aims to bring contemporary literature and recent translations directly to children and teenagers living in mountainous regions — fostering a love of reading among young people.

Since 2023, Liberty has been the strategic partner of “Mountain Books.” Within this partnership, more than 7,000 books have been donated to 2,647 children and 35 libraries across nearly 200 villages in the regions of Guria, Adjara, Samtskhe-Javakheti, and Imereti.
The goal of the project is to ensure that no child in Georgia’s highland villages is left without the most valuable gift — a book.
In 2025, with the support of Liberty, children living in the Imereti region will receive books of their choice as gifts.
